3. Looe

Looe is a small coastal and fishing town, in the heart of south-east Cornwall and is situated on both sides of the River Looe. The two towns are combined by a bridge across the river. Many years ago in the medieval time, the two towns weren’t connected. In East Looe, you will discover the harbour and shops and at West Looe you will notice it is quieter with shops, restaurants and hotels.

There is plenty to keep you entertained in Looe, as well as being a working fishing port. Along the town’s pier, you will pass a range of independent shops and buildings dating from the 16th and 17th centuries.
